We have received requests from many cyclists who are fascinated by the Setouchi Shimanami Kaido. "Cycle Ship Shimanami" is a ship and bicycle that makes the dreams of cyclists come true and combines cycling with "sea journey" to island hopping across the islands! We will guide cyclists from all over the world to cycle tourism that brings out the fullest possible charm of the Seto Inland Sea.

Four benefits of using Cycle Ship Shimanami

Just the sea route by bicycle!
Fully support for Shimanami cycling!

The ship operates a ship that can be loaded and boarded without dismantling the bicycle. We recommend enjoying a sightseeing trip while enjoying the spectacular views of the Seto Inland Sea from the open roof deck.

We have charter ships available for those considering recruiting tours or group trips.
For individual trips, cycling is done from the port to the port and on a free route within the island.
On group trips, local guides who know everything about the Shimanami Kaido will accompany you.
The six recommended routes can also be arranged.

An unknown world!
Enjoy Innoshima cycling! !
Fukada Yutaka and Mizue (Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture) 35 years of experience in cycling
When I started running from Imabari City, I ran out of energy in Omishima... Even Imabari residents are envious of the Innoshima route, and I was captivated by the scenery that completely changes with every turn. We also enjoyed the Yumeshima Kaido, and on the return journey we boarded the boat from Kitaura Port on Hakata Island. The boat heading to Imabari Port was pleasant and lingering with a pleasant aftertaste. It's unique to cycleships.

Cross the prefectural border!
This truly dream plan is realized! !
Shimizu Naina (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) 3 years of experience in cycling
We disembark at Miyakubo Port on Oshima and headed to Ikuguchi Island. The excitement of driving in the middle of the archipelago, where the Murakami Pirates were active, is indescribable. We took over the "Monument of Cyclists' Holy Land" and headed to Tatara Ohashi Bridge. We arrived at Setoda Port, soothed by the nostalgia of Ikuguchi Island. The experience of crossing prefectural borders is unique to voyages that can reduce mileage.

"Connecting that port with this port..."
Hopefully, the "cyclist's voyage" will expand!
Iketani Shinya (Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture) 14 years of experience in cycling
"If there's a route like this, it's a bicycle-friendly cycleship!" A huge applause plan for bicycle lovers and voyage lovers. The Yumeshima Kaido, which I've run many times, is even more refreshing than usual. On the evening return journey, we continued to photograph the Seto Inland Sea, dyed in the sunset from the deck. It was a golden route that passed through multiple bridges.
