Kaizan Park

This park is located at the summit of Mount Kaizan, 149 meters above sea level. It is known as a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and from the observation deck you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Chugoku Mountains, Shikoku Mountains, Omishima Bridge, Hakata Oshima Bridge, and Tatara Bridge. In addition to cherry blossoms, there are also azaleas, and you can enjoy the changing scenery throughout the seasons. The park also has playground equipment such as a 36-meter slide and jungle gym

Funaori Seto

The narrow strait between Hakata Island and Ushima Island has a river-like current that can even break ships, hence the name. You can enjoy the changing scenery of the red lighthouse's rocky shores due to the tides, as well as the ships passing by. On the west side is Tori Kojima (white lighthouse), a place of legend. Tori Kojima is home to ancient tomb ruins and was once the site of a naval outpost, with remains of a pier remaining on the coast

Okumajima Angel Road

Angel Road is a natural phenomenon, a sandy road that appears at low tide. This road connects Hakata Island with a neighboring small island over a distance of approximately 450 meters, and is also known as the "Mont Saint-Michel of the Shimanami Kaido." Legend has it that couples who walk hand in hand along this road will find happiness, and it is also known as a "sacred place for lovers."
