" system, established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Japan Maritime Agents Association with the aim of enabling users to choose operators who are proactive in safety and promoting operators' efforts to improve safety. Shimanami Co., Ltd.'s efforts in its ship operations have been recognized as those of a passenger ship operator that is proactively working to ensure safety that exceeds the standards required by law.
