Shimanami Kurushima Strait Sightseeing Boat

Shimanami Kurushima Strait Sightseeing Boat

A thrilling and unforgettable experience!
Embark on an adventurous journey aboard a sightseeing boat!

This sightseeing cruise offers you the chance to experience the rapids of the Kurushima Strait, one of Japan's three major tidal currents, up close.
While enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Seto Inland Sea's many islands, you'll have the rare experience of seeing the Kurushima Strait Bridge from directly below (passing under the bridge) and viewing the shipyards, symbols of Imabari, Japan's leading maritime city, from within the bay. You'll also visit historically important islands floating in the Kurushima Strait, such as Kurushima, the site of the Murakami pirate castle, and Kojima, where remnants of the Geiyo Fortress's gun batteries remain. This experiential cruise is packed with sights that will captivate anyone, not just history buffs.
