Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) Tatara Shimanami Park
Tatara Shimanami Park is a popular area enveloped in the sounds of the tide and a comfortable tidal breeze. You can see Tatara Bridge, one of the world’s best cable-stayed bridges, as well as the refreshing scenery of the Seto Inland Sea. It has a restaurant where you can enjoy meals made with fresh seafood and produce and a specialty goods center, and we recommend shopping at the Kamiura Fureai Yatai Ichi and the fishers’/farmers’ stalls. They sell fresh vegetables, citruses, and seafood that were harvested locally. See the bright sunlight and the glistening light of the ocean. Spend a fun day at Tatara Shimanami Park while enjoying nature.
