Shimanami Kaido

The Shimanami Kaido is an ocean road that stretches 60 km from Imabari, Ehime in Shikoku to Onomichi, Hiroshima, connecting the islands in the Seto Inland Sea with seven bridges. You can enjoy the countless highlights of the islands while being surrounded by nature and a blue sea and sky.

Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) Yoshiumi ikiikikan

Hearty meals and a specialty-goods market. You can enjoy fresh seafood and charcoal barbecue while viewing Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge. You can also buy local vegetables, fresh fish, specialty-goods, and other souvenirs.

Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) Hakata S∙C Park Marine Oasis Hakata

There is a culture center and a gym center. Additionally, there is a park, tennis court, swimming area, and rental bikes. It has a store for specialty goods and a restaurant, and it is a familiar place for tourists who visit the Shimanami Kaido.

Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) Tatara Shimanami Park

Tatara Shimanami Park is a refreshing park enveloped in the sounds of the tide and a comfortable tidal breeze. It is right by the Omishima IC exit. It is a popular viewing area that overlooks Tatara Bridge, one of the world’s best cable-stayed bridges, as well as scenery of the Seto Inland Sea. See the bright sunlight and the glistening light of the ocean. Why not spend a fun day enjoying nature?

Yoshiumi Rose House

This is a shop adjacent to Yoshiumi Rose Park. The shop sells rose-related goods, local specialty goods, hand-crafted wreaths, and other souvenirs. It is highly recommended in spring and fall when the roses are in season. Come and be relaxed by the scent of the roses.
